Topnotch Resort is truly a one-of-a-kind property with a Spa that boasts 30 treatment rooms, a hair salon, a nail salon, two pools and a state-of-the-art fitness center. Our property sits on 120 acres of breathtaking scenery ensuring a serene environment for all.

Spa Director Job Overview: The Spa Director is responsible for the success of the Spa at Topnotch Resort and elevating the guest experience to ensure progression of services and talent to meet exceptional luxury experiences.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Provide the highest level of oversight of a team of 40+ licensed and experienced professionals.
  • Stay on top of market trends to ensure services and products are top notch.
  • Maintain excellent relations with club members and train team to anticipate needs.
  • Maintain overall knowledge of front desk operations including reservations, filing systems, sales and guest check-in procedures from a high level.
  • Coordinate with sales team for any on-property group business.
  • Ensure the management team is efficient and timely in training the team.
  • Provide a fair, consistent and positive work environment for team members.
  • Represent the Spa department at meetings and conferences.
  • Responsible for forecasting revenue and monitoring payroll and expenses on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Take appropriate action to effectively manage profitability.
  • Remain knowledgeable of current industry trends and develop new programs to remain competitive.
  • Consistently lead by example.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years’ experience as an Assistant Director or above or five years’ experience as Manager or above at a major spa is required.
  • Prior advanced experience with budgeting, forecasting and team development is required.
  • Additional language ability preferred.
  • Relocation package will be considered.
