TerraVerde Energy is searching for a Project Manager to join our team. In this role, you will report to the Director of Projects and will manage solar PV and battery energy storage projects for our clients. Our clients include school district, water agencies, local governments, and commercial enterprises largely in California. In this client facing role, you will be the day-to-day face of the company. You will need to capture client project requirements, understand the technical, legal, regulatory and permitting challenges to deliver a solution. From there, you’ll craft a plan to deliver projects through full implementation. To be successful, you will need a problem-solving mindset and the ability to drill into important details. However, you’ll also need the awareness to zoom out to the big picture to make sure to prioritize what is urgent before what is important. Responsibilities
The Project Manager will assume management responsibilities on solar, battery, microgrid, and other energy projects. The Project Manager will interface with TerraVerde clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to shepherd projects through the design, permitting, construction, and commissioning phases to ensure that projects are delivered on-time, on-budget, and within the agreed-upon scope.

Represent TerraVerde and clients in project meetings throughout the various stages projects
Traveling to project sites & client locations as necessary
Provide as-needed reporting on project progress
Collaborate with other business units at TerraVerde as-needed to support company-wide needs and objectives

Understanding of solar PV and energy storage project economics
Required Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in solar PV and / or battery project management
Undergraduate engineering degree
Demonstrated previous experience designing solar PV and energy storage systems
Competent with data analysis using MS Excel
Preferred Qualifications
Experience managing commercial-scale solar PV and battery projects in California
Experience working with California public agencies
Graduate engineering degree
Compensation Plan:
Salary Range: $120-140k
Bonus Compensation Range: 10-15% of salary
Health/Dental/Vision: Eligible the first of the month after 30 days of employment.
401(k) Plan: Eligible after six months of employment.
