Marten Transport is looking for an experienced candidate to fill Software Developer/Engineer position in Eau Claire, WI or Mondovi, WI. The ideal candidate has experience in C# with the capacity to develop robust desktop or web applications along with backend service architecture. The candidate should work well in a collaborative team environment and be able to learn new systems and development techniques as needed.
Responsibilities
Design, develop and implement applications and backend services based on project requirements
Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle: project and architecture analysis, UI design, development, testing, code review, deployment, user training, documentation, and support
Research and learn new development technologies and strategies as required
Skills Required
Experience developing robust applications with modern development technologies (i.e. C#, JAVA, C++)
Understanding of relational databases and the ability to write complex SQL based queries.
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Skills Preferred
Understanding of modern source control technologies (GIT, SVN)
Prior development experience in ASP .NET, HTML, JavaScript, CSS, or Python
Experience in SQL Server, SAP ASE or other SQL based databases
Knowledge of basic Windows and Linux operating system administration
Familiarity with development/deployment tools such as Dev Express, Nuget, Azure DevOps, etc.
