We are seeking a seasoned Sign Language Interpreter for a virtual position in a school-based setting. Responsibilities
Provide proficient sign language interpretation services during virtual classroom sessions, meetings, and other school-related activities.
Facilitate effective communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and school staff.
Collaborate closely with educators and support staff to ensure the needs of students with hearing impairments are met.
Qualifications
Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL).
LARA licensure (mandatory).
EIPA Score of 3.5 or higher (mandatory).
Experience as a sign language interpreter in a school-based or educational setting preferred.
Comfortable using technology for remote interpretation, including video conferencing platforms and digital tools.
