Sign Language Interpreter for Deerfield, MI School Position: Sign Language Interpreter Location: Deerfield, MI School Year: 2024-2025 Start Date: 08/26/2024 End Date: 05/30/2025 Hourly Pay: $32/hour Spindle Staffing is Hiring! We are looking for dedicated and skilled Sign Language Interpreters to work with a school in Deerfield, MI for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a significant impact on students' lives and support their educational journey. Requirements: EIPA Score of 4.0 or higher and licensed as a MI Interpreter through LARA. OR EIPA Score of 3.5-3.9 and has tested and received their EIPA score within the last 24 months (with a waiver obtainable by the director). OR A valid Michigan BEI II Certification . Responsibilities: Provide sign language interpreting services in a school setting. Facilitate communication between deaf or hard-of-hearing students and their peers, teachers, and staff. Support the educational development of students by ensuring clear and effective communication.
