We have two exciting opportunities to join our team in our New York

showroom as we prepare to double our space.

• Sales Assistant – Embroidered Fabrics

• Sales Associate – Fabrics & Accessories

Chelsea Textiles is world renowned for making beautiful, hand-embroidered fabrics for over 30 years. More recently, it has expanded its collection to include wovens, prints, stripes, silks, velvets, trimmings and wallpapers, all designed to perfectly complement its embroidery collections. The positions on offer are full time Monday to Friday and based out of our New York showroom in the Fine Arts Building. Roles are client facing and will require a high-end attitude and presentation.

Sales Assistant – Embroidered Fabrics

Chelsea Textiles is seeking an Embroidered Fabrics Sales Assistant to the Senior Embroidery Sales Consultant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for textiles, be highly organised with strong admin and communication skills, great attention to detail and a confident and friendly manner. Experience using accounting software, such as Sage, is preferred or must be a quick learner.

In this role, your main duties will include:

• Assisting clients in the showroom, via email or over the phone on all embroidery enquiries.

• Giving out memos and following up with clients who have requested them.

• Working with high-end interior designers to help realise their projects and make suggestions based on your knowledge of the product.

• Working on custom orders and liaising between client and production.

• Assisting US rep showrooms with their embroidery orders.

Salary: From $55k depending on experience

Sales Associate – Fabrics & Accessories

Chelsea Textiles is seeking a Sales Associate across the fabrics, trimmings and wallpaper departments. The ideal candidate will have a passion for textiles and interiors and a confident and friendly manner. Experience in a showroom setting is preferred.

In this role, your main duties will include:

·     Assisting clients in the showroom, via email or over the phone on all fabric & accessories enquiries.

·     Giving out memos and following up with clients who have requested them.

·     Help put together schemes across all products.

·     Working with high-end interior designers to help realise their projects and make suggestions based on your knowledge of the products.

·     Assisting the sales team where needed.

·     Keeping the showroom appearance to a high standard.

Salary: From $55k depending on experience
