Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Design Manager to oversee the operations and presentation of our Kitchen Showroom and Design Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAD design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to collaborate with suppliers to bring a customer’s dream kitchen to life. This role requires a creative individual who can effectively balance aesthetics and functionality to create a compelling customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement innovative home kitchen designs that highlight ZLINE’s products.
Engage with customers to provide design consultations and support, offering expert advice on product selection and customization options.
Create detailed CAD drawings for custom kitchen layouts, ensuring optimal use of space and adherence to each customer’s design standards.
Coordinate with suppliers to source materials and products for customer’s kitchens, such as cabinets and countertops.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure showroom products meet customer needs and preferences.
Be a subject matter expert on ZLINE products in order to suggest the best products for the customer’s needs.
Manage timelines and budgets for customer projects.
Gather and analyze customer feedback to continually improve the showroom experience.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Design, Architecture, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proven experience in kitchen design, preferably with appliances, cabinets and/or countertops.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, 20/20) or similar design tools.
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience working with suppliers and managing vendor relationships.
