Showroom Coordinator

The Retail Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the retail department. This position will focus on efficient order processing, effective inventory management, timely client communication, collaborative teamwork, and effective time management. The Retail Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the sales team, managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure a welcoming environment by greeting and assisting guests and visiting staff upon their arrival, providing hospitality and general support.
• Oversee showroom and conference room reservations, ensuring spaces are prepared and timely for scheduled meetings.
• Ensure the pantry, bathrooms, common areas, kitchen area, and overall showroom environment are presentable throughout the day.
• Maintain NY Showroom sample management including maintaining sample tracker and managing accuracy of inventory.
• Send and receive samples to press and retailers for photo shoots
• Help support the sales team during market weeks (pre and post market activities to collect orders)
• Participate in NYC store visits, take notes on Marcolin’s assortments/visual setups – compare with competition to identify opportunities or risks.
• Support business and brand strategies (pull monthly reports and compile data and details relevant to share with the brand team).
• Sales team will provide insight/training into wholesale business with introduction to brand management, planning and customer service
• Support brand and sales with copy details for digital businesses

Experience & Background:

• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to interact with all levels of internal management.
