POSITION SUMMARY

Join and serve with the Boostlingo organization and Marketing team for handling search engine optimization for our website. In this role, you will perform regular checks, solve any SEO-related issues relating to coding and site performance, and ensure web pages and website structures are in line with SEO best practices.

To ensure success as an SEO developer, you should be a proficient front-end developer with expertise in several coding languages and the latest SEO development tools. A top-notch SEO developer will demonstrate a deep understanding of all kinds of SEO approaches and be able to offer assistance with SEO development, deployment, and maintenance.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES



Technical SEO:

• Ensuring that website layout and coding is optimized for search.
• Working with the web designer to ensure consistent standards of SEO.
• Optimize website structure, URL architecture, and internal linking for improved crawlability and indexing.
• Performing regular tests on website SEO rankings.
• Troubleshooting technical SEO issues for the website.
• Planning website SEO contingencies for problems that may arise.
• Assisting with integrations to enhance or maintain SEO competitiveness.
  
  

Content Optimization:

• Collaborate with content creators to ensure on-page SEO best practices are followed.
• Optimize meta tags, headings, and content for target keywords.
  
  

Performance Analysis:

• Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software.
• Generate and present regular reports on SEO performance, including rankings, traffic, and conversion metrics.
• Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve SEO strategies.
• Stay up to date with the latest SEO trends, algorithms, and best practices.
• Perform ongoing keyword expansion and optimization.
  
  

Collaboration and Communication:

• Updating marketing managers and team members on SEO standards and changes.
• Providing technical support to stakeholders in the web design process.
• Work closely with the web development team to implement SEO recommendations.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to align SEO strategies with overall marketing goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
  
  

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of 2 years' front-end development, web design experience and SEO experience is fundamental.
• Experience with optimization of website structure, URL architecture, and internal linking with Wordpress websites.
• Experience with analysis of website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software.
• A bachelor's degree in computer science, programming, or web development.
• Proficiency in front-end programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, or JS.
• Solid understanding of general SEO principles and the web-design process.
• Knowledge of CMS software, markdown, graphic design, website architecture, and integrations.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
  
  

Computer literacy, specifically with:

Both Mac and PC environments.

Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, 6sense, Salesforce, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Adwords, SEMRush. Wordpress.
