We are looking to add a talented SVP, Originations, to the Acquisitions department in the southeast region.

Reports to: Executive Vice President, Acquisitions
Position Summary:
This position is responsible for identifying, structuring, and closing low-income housing tax credit transactions and participates as a member of the CREA Placement Committee. The Originator will work closely with the Executive Vice President, Acquisitions.
Primary Responsibilities
Initiating contact with developers
Participating in the pipeline review process
Structuring low-income housing transactions
Negotiating Letters of Intent
Negotiating Partnership Agreements
Facilitating the closing process of Lower Tier Partnerships
Collaborating with Credit & Underwriting, Asset Management, Fund Management, and other internal departments on the approval and closing of Lower Tier Partnerships
Job Requirements:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, and a minimum of seven years of applicable LIHTC Origination experience. Must be proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite with a heavy emphasis on Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint. Flexibility to travel more than 50% of the time is expected. National, State, and Local speaking engagement experience and proficiency are required. Must possess and be able to demonstrate effectiveness with each of the following Core Competencies:
