We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Application Development Manager to join our Issuer Services Engineering team. This role is located in Pittsburgh, PA, and will work a Hybrid schedule (3 days per week in-office required). Candidate must reside within a commutable distance to this work location, as we are unable to accommodate 100% virtual work arrangements.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Application Development Manager to join our Issuer Services Engineering team. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of 3-5 software engineers.
- Oversee the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge software solutions.
- Ensure project milestones are met, and driving continuous improvement within the team.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.
- Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
- Identify and address team members' professional development needs.
- Project Management:
- Oversee the entire software development lifecycle for assigned projects.
- Work with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Develop detailed project plans and timelines, ensuring on-time delivery.
- Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet changing needs.
- Technical Oversight:
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Review and approve design and code produced by the team.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Facilitate effective communication within the team and with other departments.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Present project updates and technical solutions to senior management.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Implement and advocate for agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.
- Identify areas for process improvement and drive initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
- Promote a culture of innovation and learning within the team.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred
- 10 + years of experience in systems analysis and program development with related supervisory, management and administrative experience required
- Proven experience managing software development projects from inception to completion
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Python, JavaScript)
- Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices
- Experience with agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, JIRA)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
- Excellent leadership and team-building skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Experience in the securities or financial services industries is a plus
