Key Requirements
- Require at least 7 years of experience in a Support Engineer role.
- Proficiency in Standard RPE and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong expertise in Linux systems.
- Hands-on experience with Python for task automation.
- Skilled in Incident management processes.
- Availability for on-call support duties.
- Ability to troubleshoot Linux systems effectively.
- Experience in task automation using any programming language.
- Practical knowledge of at least one pillar of observability (metrics, logs, or traces).
- Working knowledge in one of the following areas: SQL, REST services (API), Load balancing and networking, Performance troubleshooting and resolution.
- Strong collaboration skills.
- Proficiency in Python for task automation.
- Familiarity with site reliability engineering practices such as service level objectives (SLOs), error budgets, blameless postmortems, and toil reduction.
- Previous experience in creating operational dashboards using tools like Splunk or Grafana.
- Experience in administering and/or supporting ServiceNow.
