Experienced Support Engineer Opportunity

Key Requirements

  • Require at least 7 years of experience in a Support Engineer role.
  • Proficiency in Standard RPE and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong expertise in Linux systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Python for task automation.
  • Skilled in Incident management processes.
  • Availability for on-call support duties.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Linux systems effectively.
  • Experience in task automation using any programming language.
  • Practical knowledge of at least one pillar of observability (metrics, logs, or traces).

Specialized Areas Of Knowledge

  • Working knowledge in one of the following areas: SQL, REST services (API), Load balancing and networking, Performance troubleshooting and resolution.
  • Strong collaboration skills.

Desired Skills

  • Proficiency in Python for task automation.
  • Familiarity with site reliability engineering practices such as service level objectives (SLOs), error budgets, blameless postmortems, and toil reduction.
  • Previous experience in creating operational dashboards using tools like Splunk or Grafana.
  • Experience in administering and/or supporting ServiceNow.
