What You'll Do
As a Senior Reliability Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of our innovation. The Corporate Senior Reliability engineer is recognized as a subject matter expert (SME) in Reliability focusing on asset management strategies, which include but are not limited to FMEA, RCM, RCAs, Criticality Assessment, PM/PM Optimization, and predictive/preventative inspection technology. This function also assists with implementation of Reliability standard work at selected sites throughout the Corporation.
What We're Looking For
Assists with implementation of Reliability standard work processes.
Conducts criticality equipment assessments.
Implements asset strategies aligned with criticality and needs of the business.
Recommends appropriate condition monitoring tools and techniques to improve effectiveness of PdM programs.
Conducts ad hoc RCA, FMEAs, PM reviews and PM Optimization exercises as required.
Reviews Engineering Design as required to ensure “Design for Reliability” is achieved.
Perform reliability gap assessment to determine if sites are meeting compliance related to Reliability standard work and introduce countermeasures to close gaps.
Provides technical expertise to sites as required.
Develops Lubrizol Corporate standards for reliability practices and most effective technology (MET).
Trains and mentors site staff on reliability standards and processes.
Stays current on industry reliability methods and practices.
Skills That Make a Difference
5+ years of experience in Maintenance & Reliability
Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology
Considered an expert in RCA’s, FMEA’s and PM Reviews.
Considered an SME in rotating equipment which includes centrifugal pumps, positive displacement pumps, vacuum pumps, gearboxes, mechanical seals, centrifugal fans, centrifugal blowers and vibration analysis.
Leadership and technical skills to help mentor other site reliability engineers throughout the Americas.
Travel up to 25% in the Americas
Considered a Plus
Level IV Vibration Analyst Certification
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP)
Experience with SAP S/4
High level RCA’s or FMEA’s which has resulted in >$1 million in maintenance savings or significant improvements to critical equipment in high demand process.
Developed a 3‐year reliability plan in a chemical facility or in a large process unit.
