Squarespace is looking for an experienced QA Analyst to lead testing projects, working closely with Product Engineering teams throughout the company in remote offices. You will oversee the testing strategy of feature changes and support efforts to refine and organize our general testing process and workflow. Mentor QA Analysts and perform testing for multiple agile teams in a collaborative environment. We are looking for customer-focused technical mentors who foster a culture of collaboration in a rapidly evolving agile environment.
This is a hybrid role working from our NYC office 3 days per week. You will report to the Engineering Manager in our New York City headquarters.
You'll Get To…
Create comprehensive test plans and test cases
Review requirements and early designs to provide concise, meaningful feedback and time/complexity estimates
Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs and bring them to remediation with Product Engineering teams
Communicate, improve workflows, and strategize testing with product teams
Coordinate, train, and provide feedback to QA Analysts across multiple offices
Identify cases for and write automation scripts for E2E, Integration API and unit tests
Work to create an amazing Developer Experience via tools and processes
Review test plans created by other QA Analysts
Perform and lead QA Contractors in many different types of manual testing
Participate in advancing testing and troubleshooting tools
Collaborate with Product Support to communicate advanced knowledge of upcoming changes to advisors, specialists and technical writers
Participate in the Incident Commander rotation and facilitate the quickest path to mitigation and resolution of an incident
Who We're Looking For
3+ years of experience testing web UX/UI
Experience with QA processes in an agile environment
Proficient in test automation through non-GUI methods (Javascript, JAVA, and Git experience is preferred)
Experience with unit, integration and API testing
Experience as a mentor or manager

Cash Compensation Range: $100,000 - $161,000 USD
The base salary for this position will vary based on job-related criteria including relevant skills, experience, and location, among other factors.
In addition to the cash compensation above (which includes base salary and, where applicable for eligible roles, may include on-target commissions or overtime pay), all Squarespace employees are eligible to receive equity in the company as part of their total compensation.
