Senior Proposal Writer – Federal Government


Anacomp is a leading document and records management company providing technology-based solutions to federal agencies and commercial customers to improve business processes, reduce costs and achieve information security and governance.

Anacomp is seeking an energetic and collaborative Senior Proposal Writer to lead, coordinate and produce proposal responses. The Senior Proposal Writer will play a crucial role in supporting our federal contract bids. This individual will be responsible for creating comprehensive, clear and concise content that will form an integral part of our proposal submissions. The selected candidate must be able to provide valid samples of previous work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review and analyze RFI, RFP, RFQ requirements, assess business fit and participate in bid/no bid decisions.
  • Develop capture strategies and compliant proposal outline with win themes and discriminators.
  • Develop and write clear, concise, and compelling content for federal contract proposals, including technical approach/descriptions, executive summaries, key personnel resumes, pricing narrative, and other necessary sections.
  • Create and implement techniques and graphics to meet page count constraints as required.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts across various departments to gather the necessary information and insights for proposal content.
  • Ensure proposals are complete and compliant with all proposal instructions and support evaluation criteria.
  • Edit and proofread proposal content for clarity, grammar, and accuracy.
  • Maintain a comprehensive library of technical documentation, templates, and standard responses.
  • Participate in proposal review meetings and provide input on content, strategy, and structure.
  • Manage multiple writing assignments under tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of professional experience.
  • Experience with federal government proposal processes and requirements.
  • Familiarity with the health IT sector, especially federal healthcare and IT systems.
  • Experience in all aspects of proposal analysis, development, and management.
  • Strong technical writing experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft 365.
  • Strong discipline to work independently in a remote environment.
