Senior Pre Construction Manager

LHH is currently looking for a Senior Pre Construction Manager for our client in the St. Louis Metro Area. The ideal candidate will be comfortable overseeing the entire operation of the pre-construction and construction manager. They should be able to determine and address budget, risk, planning, scheduling, and overall client planning and communication. This person will take ownership over the handling of duties, ensuring the entirety of the project planning and budgeting process is of the highest standard of quality.

Responsibilities:

• Handle design, bidding, budgeting and pre-construction phase of client construction projects
• Establishing budgets and control cost as well as identify cause of cost variances and eliminate negative variances
• Identify project risk and follow company safety program, laws, and OSHA operating standards
• Support of the estimates, negotiations, and design changes including all documentation within these areas

1. Creating budgets from the design, communicating with clients on pricing and quality of the build, providing deliverables, working with trade partners on the projects, etc
2. Highly relationship based on the efforts of all permitting and development for the project.

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years of experience in the pre-construction area with strong project management and communications skills
• Knowledge of structural, MEP, and civil systems and ability to read construction documents
• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards
• Strong people management skills, handling workers with high professionalism
