Job Summary/Purposes


We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Manager to join our Windows, Displays, and Pop-Ups team. The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of window projects, pop-up production, and installations, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives and brand standards.


Responsibilities


Strategic Leadership:

  • Provide strategic direction and vision for the Windows, Displays, and Pop-Ups team, driving innovation and excellence in organization and departmental initiatives.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and HQ to develop long-term strategies and goals for enhancing the retail environment and customer experience.


Project Management Mastery:

  • Utilize advanced project management skills to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of windows, pop-ups and specialty programs and installations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Anticipate and mitigate risks to minimize project disruptions and optimize outcomes.


Technical Expertise:

  • Leverage advanced proficiency in Adobe Suites, AutoCAD, or similar software to develop and execute creative concepts for window displays and installations.
  • Translate design concepts into technical specifications and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure feasibility and compliance with brand standards.


Retail Store Planning and Pop-Ups Experience:

  • Bring extensive experience in retail store planning and pop-ups within the fashion and/or luxury sector.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of retail trends, customer behavior, and brand positioning to create impactful and immersive experiences that drive foot traffic and sales.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Foster collaboration and alignment across departments, including Design, Marketing, Operations, Visual Merchandising and Retail to ensure seamless execution of projects.
  • Act as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders, providing expertise and guidance on technical design, production, and installation processes.


Vendor Management and Budget Oversight:

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with external vendors and suppliers, negotiating contracts and agreements to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms.
  • Oversee vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations, holding partners accountable for meeting project deliverables and quality standards.
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, tracking expenses and expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness and fiscal responsibility.


Team Development and Mentorship:

  • Lead, coach, and mentor team while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning. Provide guidance and support to team members, empowering them to achieve their full potential and contribute to departmental success.


Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in Design Planning, Visual Merchandising, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in retail visual merchandising, with a focus on window production, and installation.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Suites, AutoCAD, or similar software.
  • Experience in retail store planning and pop-ups within the fashion and/or luxury sector is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of successful project management, including budget oversight, vendor management, and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a strategic mindset and attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with a passion for innovation and creativity.
  • Travel required.


The annual salary range for this position may vary from $100,000.00 - $150,000.00, and if applicable, may be eligible for bonuses and other incentive opportunities. The rate of pay offered may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
