Sr. Manager, GTM Planning & Programs
The GTM Planning, Analytics, and Incentive Design team (PAID) exists to facilitate effective strategic planning and execution in support of our GTM strategy. We oversee the development of our strategic planning models, the implementation of critical processes at scale, as well as the design and delivery of variable incentive compensation plans.
As the Sr. Manager of GTM Planning & Programs, you will own the governance of our most critical in-year initiatives within GTM Strategy & Ops as well as oversight of our annual GTM planning process. This role will require close collaboration with functional leaders/stakeholders across the organization to plan and launch the new fiscal year strategy among other initiatives. In this capacity, you will drive process design and implementation end-to-end while proactively managing challenges as they arise/advising leadership on proposed mitigations. As a senior-level individual contributor, you will be responsible for driving success independently and with minimal day-to-day oversight. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing multiple complex cross-functional projects while maintaining an efficient plan, tracking issues, and proactively communicating progress against key milestones. Given the extremely cross-functional nature of the role, the ability to communicate and work collaboratively with a variety of teams and personalities is essential.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
The annual OTE range for this position for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$142,000—$214,000 USD
The OTE range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:
$159,000—$239,000 USD

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end GTM planning process, serving as the central hub for all planning activities and timelines.
- Develop a robust project plan by outlining the primary workstreams, major deliverables, timelines, and dependencies
- Ensure alignment across teams and stakeholders through weekly syncs and status updates
- Manage agenda of weekly planning sessions with CRO to ensure key executive decisions are meeting program timelines.
- Build and ultimately leverage important context around Okta’s major planning processes including our methodologies, models, tooling, and policies to link dependencies and identify program risks.
- Own and maintain our GTM Planning handbook, encompassing program phases, integrated processes, stakeholders, deliverables, and approximate timelines
- Enable teams onto Asana as a tool for managing our program portfolio
- 8+ years of consulting and/or industry experience with a background in strategy/management consulting, business operations, corporate development, or GTM / Product-centric roles.
- Practical expertise in the enterprise software / SaaS industry. Previous high-growth operations or startup experience is highly desired. Strong technical, business, and finance acumen.
- Demonstrated experience designing & leading complex, cross-functional operational and/or strategic initiatives. GTM and Product operations experience is a major plus.
- Exceptional written and oral communication and collaboration skills across all levels of an organization. Very detail-oriented yet able to convey information strategically and concisely.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with a portfolio of assignments and drive complex strategic projects to completion with minimal supervision.
- Working proficiency in Asana is a plus
- Familiarity with Anaplan is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required (or commensurate work experience). MBA / advanced degree a plus.
