Senior Learning Specialist - Corporate

The Learning Specialist / Senior Learning Specialist plays a pivotal role in shaping the learning and development landscape for our organization. Responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating learning programs that enhance the skills, knowledge, and performance of our employees. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and creates engaging and effective learning experiences that promote the culture of continuous leaning and professional growth. 

Essential Functions:

• Collaborates with subject matter experts and department leaders to identify learning needs and performance gaps 
• Manages end-to-end learning program development, from content creation to assessment 
• Designs and develops engaging and effective learning materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, workshops, job aids, and other resources
• Implements and delivers internally and vendor-developed orientation programs, training programs, and competency development programs to employees in variety of formats including in-person and virtual. 
• Utilizes learning management systems (LMS) to deliver and track training programs and individual progress 
• Regularly reviews and updates training materials to keep them current, accurate, and aligned with business objectives 
• Stays informed about the latest trends, methodologies, and technologies in the learning and development field to continually improve training strategies 

• Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources or relevant field required 
• 5 - 7 minimum prior years of experience  
• Advanced knowledge of learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training evaluation techniques 
• Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning platforms
• Strong facilitation skills  
• Excellent written and verbal communication 
• Strong organizational skills  
• Ability to build partnerships and work collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives 
• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment 
• Strong client-service attitude with ability to multi-task and accomplish multiple priorities  

Hybrid Firm Position:

As a Hybrid Firm, Walter P Moore combines the best of both worlds - blending work options to include in-office and home office environments. This allows us to offer more flexibility and work-life integration to our employees. Candidates applying for this position should have the ability to commute to or periodically travel to the affiliated office.

To ensure the ability to setup a suitable home office space, Walter P Moore offers a one-time $1,000 stipend that would be paid upon completion of the first week of employment. An additional $50 monthly stipend will also be provided to cover ongoing home office expenses.
