Senior Information Architect (Remote Role)

About The Role

We are searching for a talented and experienced Information Architect to join our team in a remote role supporting clients in Tallahassee, FL.

In this role, you will play a pivotal role in the design, implementation, and optimization of information systems within the client’s cybersecurity projects. This position demands an expert-level understanding of information architecture, data management, and strategic planning. The IAS 1 will collaborate with various teams to ensure that information systems are designed to support the organization’s goals and comply with relevant standards and regulations.

$90K/year - $120K/year

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of information architecture to support clients’ cybersecurity initiatives.
• Conduct thorough assessments to document and analyze current information systems and processes.
• Perform gap analyses to identify areas for improvement and ensure alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
• Develop strategic plans to improve data management, information flow, and system interoperability.
• Ensure compliance with NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) Versions 1.1 and 2.0, Rule 60GG, FAC, s. 282, F.S., and other governing directives.
• Work closely with cybersecurity analysts, integration engineers, and other team members to align information architecture with overall cybersecurity strategies.
• Implement changes and improvements to enhance the efficiency and security of data management.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in information architecture, data management, or a related field.
• Strong expertise in designing and implementing information systems and architectures.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data modeling, information flow, and system interoperability.
• Proven ability to conduct strategic planning and gap analyses.
• Excellent documentation and compliance skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, CISSP, or equivalent are highly desirable.
