Summary of Responsibilities:
As our Senior HR generalist, you will serve as the primary liaison between Paramit employees and the Human Resources department for all general policy questions, assist subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, verifying system changes, report writing, and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities, advise managers, supervisors, or administrators in all HR practices, to provide information to employees about regulations, contract language, and policies, and to provide general support.
You will own the support and administration of our Human Resources Information System (HRIS) in addition to other company systems within the HR department. Performance management, including manager training, maintaining employee information, and providing support, will be an area where you can take the lead. You will use and stretch your “generalist” experience, performing a wide variety of both complex and routine administrative services. This includes collaboration with the Human Resources office on the administration of the human resources policies, procedures, and programs.
REPORTS TO: VP of Human Resources, Americas
Essential Duties and Core Responsibilities:
Provides administrative support to the human resources function in the areas of HRIS and staffing/employment. This includes updating employee records, queries, new hire input, and retrieval of confidential information used for management reporting.
Responsible for ensuring data integrity through the administration of the HRIS and other company systems. This includes new hires, change-of-status, performance evaluations, benefits, terminations, etc.
Conducts new employee orientations to ensure employees gain an understanding of benefits. Counsels employees (and potential employees/applicants) on plan provisions so that individuals can make informed decisions on benefits
Handle annual open enrollment process for employee benefits; administer and explain benefits to employees; collect and process benefit elections; serve as a liaison between insurance carriers and employees
Responsible for updating, reconciling, and processing monthly HR invoices for payments
Manage Leave of Absence (LOA) programs for FMLA, CFRA, PDL, PFL, Worker's Comp, and Family Sick Leave
Completes special projects by clarifying project objectives, setting timetables and schedules, conducting research, developing and organizing information, fulfilling transactions
Reviewing employee complaints and ensuring accurate and timely documentation of concerns or issues
Facilitating actions to resolve the employee issues and escalating them to the appropriate management team
Conduct employee exit interviews
Consult with line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Specific Education, Knowledge, and/or Work Experience:
8+ years of human resources experience
Benefits administration, including system input and running Open Enrollment
BS degree or equivalent work experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Technologically savvy, utilizing a variety of applications and cloud-based HR tools, including HRIS maintenance, proficiency with MS Office, and virtual meeting applications (MS Teams)
Solid working knowledge of Employee Benefits
Knowledge of local and federal laws (EEOC, FMLA, ADA, WC, etc.)
Extremely organized and accustomed to working with digital documentation and employee files
Preferred Experience and Education:
Advanced Excel reporting experience and data manipulation
SAP HRMS Module experience (SuccessFactors, Master Data HCM, etc.)
Expertise in HR specialized areas, i.e., DE&I, People Analytics, LMS, HRIS, Talent Management, Compensation, etc.
