Senior Fund Accountant

Our client, a credit-oriented investment manager w/ $20B+ AUM is seeking to hire a Senior Fund Accountant to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate is a CPA with 2-4+ years of experience in public accounting or fund accounting.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide support for the fund accounting team assisting with all aspects of day-to-day accounting.
• Review administrator books and records for monthly and quarterly closes by utilizing internal accounting systems.
• Prepare and maintain internal reconciliations and expense accrual schedules.
• Coordinate with other internal and external groups to ensure timely receipt of deliverables.
• Prepare and maintain various internal and external fund performance reports.
• Be responsible for preparation of periodic reports for management as well as quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Assist auditors and administrators with preparation and review of annual financial statements, including supporting schedules and footnote disclosures.
• Assist with preparation and review of responses to prospective and existing investor requests
• Perform other ad hoc tasks and projects as requested.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• 2-4+ years previous experience in public accounting or asset management
• CPA strongly preferred
