Angus Campbell

Principal Consultant - Structural Forensics, Repair & Restoration & Building Enclosures at LVI Associates

LVI have partnered with a well-established, multi-disciplined firm in AEC to aid them in further growing their impressive function in forensic engineering with the best technical minds in the market. This group has proven incredibly profitable for them and is seeing huge investment and backing to achieve their ambitious goals for organic growth. This practice has a domineering presence in Florida with a regional presence in 3 offices in Miami, Tampa and Orlando, allowing them to be more localized and better equipped to handle claims and perform investigations.

Their team of dedicated forensics professionals provide damage assessment, repair & restoration consulting, root cause analysis, and expert witness services across a variety of loss and project types, ranging from single-family residential property loss claims to large/complex loss investigations for high-rise commercial and large-scale industrial buildings. They are structured with separate functions to cater to a wider range of client portfolios and they continue to diversify their service offerings to ensure the consistent growth of profitability and headcount, while making them better equipped to navigate difficult market conditions and to maintain an expanse of projects through volatility in the market.

They have the luxury of maintaining a close-knit culture within their business unit, while being backed with the reputation, marketing & technical resources, client network, and knowledge, that come with being part of a globally recognized leader. They are also a publicly traded business, with shares offerings for all of their staff, and restrictive units for their senior staff, which would come with this role. This makes them stand out in forensics for a firm of this size because, rather than being driven solely by a board of directors, private-equity/venture capital, all of their staff share a stake and vested interest in making a positive contribution to the continued growth and success of the business.

Given the scope of their team already, the leadership of this group emphasize flexibility in work/life balance and autonomy over projects, so that their people feel real passion and enjoyment in their work. They also place a lot of investment into the mentorship, training and upskilling of their staff, which has seen them develop an exciting team of subject matter experts who are renowned for their professionalism and the quality of work/service they deliver to clients.
