Senior Financial System Analyst

Job Summary:

The Senior Financial System Analyst is responsible for maintaining and operating the Company’s financial systems. This role supports the monthly operation of S/4 HANA and other finance-owned systems, assists in evaluating new functionalities to enhance financial processes, and manages master data and data governance. The Senior Financial System Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally with the IT Group to optimize current financial systems and test new modules, and with Finance and Accounting to improve functionality and internal controls.

Major Responsibilities:

• Month-End Close Support: Execute processes and transactions within S/4 HANA to support the month-end close, including maintaining foreign exchange rates, running revaluation and translation processes, ledger management, managing internal orders and budgets, processing accruals and recurring entries, loading Plan and Projections, and assisting in report generation.
• Financial Systems Maintenance: Support the operation and maintenance of financial systems such as S/4 HANA Group Reporting, Trintech Cadency, Avantis, Oracle, Blueworks, Workiva, and SharePoint.
• Development and Testing: Assist with gathering requirements, developing, and testing new systems or additional functionalities within existing financial systems.
• Master Data Management: Maintain master data across all financial systems, ensuring operational processes and controls support daily business operations and initiatives.
• Process and Control Enhancement: Develop and maintain processes and controls for master data operations, perform data quality analysis, and support data governance initiatives.
• Operational and SOX Controls: Evaluate existing processes and controls, collaborate with the Risks and Controls team to perform, test, and enhance internal operational and SOX controls.
• Additional Responsibilities: Perform other accounting and IT-related tasks as assigned.

Experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
• Experience: 5+ years of diversified experience with accounting systems, data governance, and internal controls.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Extensive knowledge of SAP Finance (FI/CO) module.
• Experience with S/4 HANA Group Reporting, Workiva, and Trintech Cadency is a plus.
• Strong understanding of accounting, SOX/internal controls, and the ability to integrate business and financial concepts into a systems environment.
