Senior Financial Analyst/Manager

What will you do?

• Support CFO with forecast and long range plan strategy and preparation
• Partner with Accounting team on month-end close process; review monthly departmental results with key stakeholders
• Partner with CFO and business stakeholders on ad hoc strategic financial analysis and business case development
• Analyze and deliver recommendations to maximize performance of MM’s investments (inventory, marketing)
• Track risks and opportunities and develop scenario analysis
• Partner with CFO to prepare monthly KPI reporting and present to senior management
• Create and maintain monthly Order Economics and Customer Profitability reporting
• Own development and tracking of Annual Operating plan and lead monthly Leadership sessions
  
  
  

What skills do you have?

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or analysis within an operating business
• Solid understanding of retail or other consumer-facing vertical
• Solid understanding of P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow and strong working knowledge of accounting
• Ability to think strategically, tying together internal and external trends and marrying that to the best path forward for MM
• Demonstrated proficiency in synthesizing data and presenting conclusions and recommendations to stakeholders
• Great at building trust and gaining support across the organization
• Direct, honest, and supportive in communications and takes ownership of the accuracy, reliability, and relevance of your work
• Able to balance the big picture with the details, and can take initiative in the absence of perfect information
• Expert Excel and PowerPoint skills; Netsuite and Looker experience a plus
  
  
  

This is a hybrid or remote position based out of either the NY Area or Charlotte, NC.

• The estimated pay range for this role, based in New York City, is $120,000-135,000 annually.

Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
