Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Manager to join our clients dynamic team. This pivotal role involves managing monthly financial reporting for operations, analyzing spend across markets and vendors, and providing insightful comparisons to budgets and prior years. The Senior Finance Manager will lead meetings with operational teams and play a crucial role in the monthly review sessions with the COO, CFO, and other key stakeholders.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the monthly financial reporting process for operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Analyze and interpret financial data to provide meaningful insights into spend patterns, variances against budget, and year-over-year trends.
  • Lead meetings with operational teams to discuss financial performance, identify opportunities for cost optimization, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Conduct thorough reviews of monthly results and prepare comprehensive reports for presentation to executive leadership.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align financial reporting with business objectives and operational strategies.
  • Act as a key liaison between finance and operations, fostering effective communication and partnership.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • Proven experience in financial management, with a focus on reporting, analysis, and budgeting.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • Experience in leading meetings with senior executives and presenting financial information clearly and persuasively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial software (e.g., ERP systems, Excel) and familiarity with BI tools for data visualization.
