Senior Finance Manager

Hunter Hamilton is partnered with a great company looking for an experience Senior Finance Manager to join their team. The Ideal candidate will have a strong background in both Accounting and Finance, be interested in growing with the organization and come from the Food & Beverage Industry.


Principal Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial functions and staff by establishing and enforcing accounting policies and procedures for plant operations, including working capital management, capital and fixed asset planning, patronage management, annual budgeting, and ongoing financial forecasts.
  • Ensure accurate reporting of relevant financial information and trends to senior management.
  • Manage and oversee the annual audit and reporting processes.
  • Ensure proper controls are implemented and followed.
  • Manage and monitor company cash flow.
  • Support the development of 3-year strategic plans, annual plans, and ongoing forecasts.
  • Maintain P&L responsibility for designated department cost centers, including administrative labor and expenses.
  • Supervise period-end and month-end closing processes.
  • Prepare quarterly back covenant reporting.
  • Perform other duties as needed or assigned.


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BS in Finance; a Master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 10 years of finance/accounting management experience.
  • Leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing consumer-driven environment.
  • Previous experience in multi-company organizations.
  • Experience with automated financial and inventory systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to work independently and effectively plan, prioritize, and communicate progress on multiple deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Supervisory and leadership responsibility for administrative employees, as well as professional, exempt, and non-exempt employees.
