As Retail Services, Senior Executive Sales Expert, you will manage and expand existing customers as well as develop new customers. You will develop and manage end-to-end major service opportunities within the EVC industry and the Retail industry with focus on Americas. Specifically, you will lead the opportunity qualification, solution design, bid, negotiation and due diligence phases of the pre-sales cycle of assigned new service ‘deals’ to maximize the revenue and profitability, ensure high levels of ‘ownership’ from internal stakeholders and strong client relationships at the most senior levels.

As Retail Services, Senior Executive Sales Expert, you will manage and expand existing customers as well as develop new customers. You will develop and manage end-to-end major service opportunities within the EVC industry and the Retail industry with focus on Americas. Specifically, you will lead the opportunity qualification, solution design, bid, negotiation and due diligence phases of the pre-sales cycle of assigned new service ‘deals’ to maximize the revenue and profitability, ensure high levels of ‘ownership’ from internal stakeholders and strong client relationships at the most senior levels.
Responsibilities
- Provides the full range of Retail Services Pre-Sales activities to an assigned base of large / complex customers.
- Maintains a working knowledge of the EVC/Retail industry and competitors.
- Acts as a valuable resource to customers and the Services operations team.
- Works with customers to perform implementation reviews and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical or procedural challenges.
- Advises customers on product integration, with other DN products and with similar / alternative competitor products.
- Leverages persuasive sales methodologies to manage customer conversations and help drive deals to close.
- Handles issues escalated from Services colleagues, resolving on own or seeking advice / support from higher level team members.
- Provides support, onsite or remote, for industry events.
- Supports sales by providing Services solution design, implementation and support for current and new customers.
- Contributes to the development of Services metrics, reporting and documentation.
- You focus on selling Services solutions across Americas into EVC Manufacturers, Chargepoint Operators as well as Retail customers.
- You work with global sales teams to develop strategies and planning for Service products.
- You help to define and deliver the value proposition for the Service products, based on the knowledge of the customer and the DN solution set.
- You help to translate customer needs into DN solutions, build the Services configuration and pricing.
- You will lead the Services pre-sale process, helping to coordinate resources, build the proposal and manage responses to tenders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent work experience required
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Service sales and/or Service operation, supporting emerging technologies and developing complex solutions
- Excellent industry, conceptual and technical understanding of EV Charging domain of expertise.
- Excellent industry, conceptual and technical understanding of Retail domain of expertise.
- Mature knowledge about service delivery processes.
- Must exhibit skills, characteristics, traits and work habits that greatly enhance the likelihood of success as a sales executive
- Must understand and be able to articulate the Diebold Nixdorf value proposition
- Creativity needed to anticipate market trends and needs and identify new Sales opportunities
- A proven track record for meeting and exceeding performance objectives, particularly in closing deals
- Possess a high level of demonstrated leadership, oral and written communication, presentation, critical thinking and strategic planning skills
- Assertive, influential and able to motivate all levels of associates, peers and executive leadership
- Must have exceptional communication, presentation, strategic planning, problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in all MS Office products with emphasis on Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
- Strong team management, communication and negotiating skills at executive levels
- Ability to travel up to 25-50% of the time
