The Ecommerce Manager is a full-time position, responsible for leading the ecommerce strategy, website UX/development, as well as website management and content curation. This role also encompasses CRM strategy (email and SMS) as well as email and database platform management to promote Blundstone and drive customer value. This position reports to the Head of Marketing and works out of the New Jersey office headquartered in New Brunswick.
Role Responsibilities
· E-commerce day-to-day management of the site
· Category and product page updates, site checks, OOS oversight
· Creation of new website page content e.g. new product and US-based brand content
· Optimizing site experience such as Narvar, Exchanges
· Work with agency resources to optimize SEO, implement GA and Meta tracking
· Project Management to drive projects with GBS and OD (UX development, content optimization, bug management)
· Website analytic insights from GA + monthly reporting
· Optimize Email strategy including segmentation, acquisition/retention
· Oversee paid media budget and allocation (Google/paid social)
· Update monthly projections for webstore (based off spend)
· Lead day to day agency relationships (Paid Search/Paid Social)
· Lead ecommerce vendor relationships - quarterly (Narvar, Klaviyo, Reviews.IO, Google)
· New site migration
· Partner with global in developing the brief for the new site
· Manage US agency in launch planning and execution
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or relevant field preferred, an MBA is a plus
· Min 5 years’ e-commerce/digital marketing experience, focused on e-commerce and CRM
· Google Analytics Certification
· Understanding of SEO, high rankings in Google
· Extensive experience with web analytics tools and digital metrics /tableau reporting
· Magento / Shopify certification
· Experience in UX and platform management – updates
· Knowledge of basic coding – creating pages and content
· Superior computer skills, including Power-point, Excel
The ideal candidate should have a background in e-commerce, with experience in e-commerce platforms (Magento) and plug-ins, CRM platforms such as Klayvio, and database management. In addition, the candidate will be well-versed in customer-led UX, website merchandising, digital communications, agency management, content planning and execution, and digital asset management. The expectation is also that the candidate is well-versed in digital and web analytics tools.
We are looking for a leader, a self-starter, passionate about building Blundstone digitally who is capable of leading cross-functional teams, executing digital initiatives and analyzing digital /e-commerce marketing data and metrics.
