ABA Centers of America is a healthcare startup experiencing steady growth while revolutionizing the autism care field. We provide ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) therapy and diagnostic services to our clients and families in our centers, in homes, and in the community. Our teams also support a small group of affiliated addiction treatment centers and related companies.

Our mission is to disrupt the ABA therapy field by making long waitlists for autism care and diagnosis a thing of the past. We currently operate clinics in 9 states with over 30 clinical service areas, and our roadmap will bring us to 10 states and more than 50 clinical service areas over the next 12-24 months. We have the resources and talent usually found at a more mature organization, including fully staffed teams to support marketing, IT, accounting, and clinic growth.

Leadership Opportunity

Are you a senior-level marketing leader looking for an amazing opportunity to lead, innovate, and maximize your talents the way you’ve always known you could? We need you to be our Senior Director of Marketing and lead our internal marketing services agency serving our corporate entities.

Reporting to the CMO, this pivotal role requires a strategic leader capable of managing our internal marketing services agency and driving the brand's growth through innovative marketing strategies. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our market presence, engaging with our communities, and supporting our mission to provide outstanding autism care services.

The Senior Director of Marketing will work closely with the VP of Digital Marketing, Director of PR, and Director of Events. This position oversees Content and Communications, Creative Services (our in-house creative design/video team of 20+ located onsite and overseas), and Project Management.

This role is based 100% in-office (but it’s a FUN office), reflecting ABA Centers of America's commitment to collaborative and integrated team efforts in driving our mission forward.

How You Will Succeed with Us

  • Strategically lead the internal marketing services agency to drive brand awareness, engagement, and business growth
  • Forge and maintain partnerships with other department leaders, continually seeking ways for Marketing to add to company projects where appropriate
  • Participate in meetings and initiatives related to company and clinic growth and development
  • Lead the execution of marketing programs from start to finish, driving collaboration with the stakeholders and leveraging the right internal processes
  • Partner with the Events team and clinic operations on event planning, resources, and creative production
  • Oversee critical marketing functions, including market research, communications, and planning
  • Use data-driven methods to identify changes in the competitive environment and enable responsive marketing activities
  • Develop and implement robust marketing strategies that effectively communicate our mission, services, and impact on the autism community
  • Analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions and marketing initiatives
  • Manage and optimize the marketing budget to ensure resources are effectively allocated to achieve maximum ROI
  • Oversee the production of all marketing materials and communications, ensuring consistency with our brand voice and standards.
  • Provide leadership and direction to the marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance.
  • Regularly report on marketing performance metrics, offering insights and recommendations to the executive team for continuous improvement.
  • Write key external marketing documents for C-Suite.


Requirements

Education/Experience and Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • 10+ years of marketing experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a director level role with a marketing department
  • Advertising or marketing services agency experience preferred
  • Proven healthcare marketing experience, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the autism care or broader behavioral health sector
  • Expert-level skills with project management tools (ClickUp, Jira, and similar platforms)
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms preferred
  • Working knowledge of digital marketing strategies, tools, and platforms to be able to partner with VP of Digital Marketing and Digital Marketing team
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a bonus
  • Must maintain clean background/drug screenings

  • Must possess marketing expert-level writing skills (will periodically be called upon to write key external marketing documents directly for C-Suite)
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to leverage data in making strategic marketing decisions
  • A sense of urgency typical of an agency environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines 100% of the time for factors that are controllable
  • Exceptional leadership and team-management skills, with a track record of motivating teams to achieve high performance
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders
