Senior Configuration Manager

Description

Leidos Digital Modernization Sector is looking for a Senior Configuration Manager to work on the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) – Increment 1 (INC1) program. The Global Enterprise Network Modernization – OCONUS (GENM-O) is a critical mission provider responsible for keeping the Army connected through global network modernization projects. The Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) - Increment 1 (INC1) will unify the next generation of Army transport to comply with the Joint Regional Security

Stack (JRSS) divestiture mandate. A phased systematic approach is required to provide individual sites with standardized, updated technology systems to ensure the Army’s Information Technology (IT) infrastructure is equipped to provide soldiers with cutting-edge technology to ensure applications, data, and enterprise services are accessible, trusted, and interoperable across the globe. Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. May

supervise others.

Primary Responsibilities

• Leads and supervises all Configuration Management (CM) resources and processes to guarantee the smooth integration and stability of software and hardware systems within the organization.
• Accountable for the complete oversight of the configuration management lifecycle, including the establishment and maintenance of efficient processes for version control, release management, and configuration documentation.
• Collaborates with the Government Configuration Control Board (CCB), to synchronize changes coordinates with the Army DODIN Operations Center (ADOC) for change coordination and develops tutorials and baseline configuration files for new devices being deployed.
• Collaborates with Quality Manager and Quality Analysts to contribute to process improvement of their respective functional area using Leidos’ Continual Innovation and Improvement (CI2) proces
• Leverages and participates in Leidos’ EngineeringEdge NextGen (EENG) process for program execution, Information Technology (IT) service management and delivery, and product realization.
• Ensures that AGUN configuration management processes align with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and AGUN program objectives.
• Leads in assessing and improving the effectiveness of configuration management practices to enhance the overall reliability and security of our systems.
• Coordinates changes with quality manager to ensure adherence to quality assurance standards.
  
  

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8-12+ years of related experience or a Masters and 6- 10+ years of related experience. A combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Demonstrated experience working within the Agile framework.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience working within Army’s IT infrastructure.

Pay Range

Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00
