Title: Senior Commercial Real Estate Acquisitions Manager

DESCRIPTION: Established and Growing Metro DC Based Commercial Real Estate Investment & Development firm is seeking to hire long term Real Estate Acquisitions Manager to join their real estate holding company. Firm is looking to purchase covered land play properties in the Metro DC Region to hold/operate/entitle/develop on a long-term basis.
JOB DUTIES:
Assist in the sourcing and evaluation of a variety of covered land play deals throughout the Metro DC Region with acquisition value of $1M to $20M
Network relentlessly with commercial real estate owners, brokers and lenders to clearly explain our acquisitions focus and identify opportunities
Propose specific covered land play submarkets, neighborhoods and strategies
Leverage commercial real estate data tools (CoStar, LandVision) to build accurate lists of prospects that the company wants to pursue
Email, cold call, and canvass commercial real estate owners and industry professionals to procure new deals
Create and execute direct marketing campaigns to commercial real estate owners and commercial real estate industry professionals
Use CRM database (Salesforce) to document and manage outreach to prospects
Assist with financial analysis of deals as necessary
Assistant in due diligence and management of feasibility study process and closing process for deals that go under contract as necessary
Complete other tasks as they arise
Willingness to wear several hats down the road
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree or greater
Minimum 5 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry working as a broker or investment/development acquisitions professional
Existing relationships with DC Metro area commercial real estate brokers, lenders, owners and other real estate professionals and desire to form new relationships
Strong attention to detail and highly organized
Substantial knowledge of DC Metro real estate markets
Strong networking and communication skills
Must be comfortable cold calling and making unsolicited connections with property owners and industry professionals
HIGHLY PREFERRED SKILLS/CERTIFICATIONS:
Real estate sales license
Brokerage license
Salesforce experience is a plus
