Senior Analyst, NetSuite/Financial Systems

** NetSuite Senior Analyst needed in Houston or near to Houston
** Mostly remote - monthly onsite in Houston
** Direct Hire - must be eligible to work without sponsorship

All of the financial systems are SaaS based and this position will interact directly with software vendors (e.g., NetSuite) for technical support.

This is a senior NetSuite functional position that reports into the finance organization. This position requires a combination skillset of business process analysis, NetSuite administration, and project leadership
Should have a solid understanding of end-to-end financial business processes (e.g. order to cash, procure to pay).

Our client has prioritized process optimization and reducing manual processes. They also have placed an emphasis on increasing integration between financial systems. This requires demonstrated experience in business process mapping, workflow analysis, and systems integration experience.

• Serve as ERP administrator for accounting needs such as changes to account structure, opening/closing of accounting ledgers and subledgers, and evaluation and granting of ERP access rights.
• Support gathering business requirements for the design and implementation of new processes by engaging with operations and IT management, including customization of workflows within NetSuite ERP.
• Support the full and optimal utilization of ERP system capabilities and functionality and make recommendations for improved use of ERP system.
• Perform testing of all new and/or modifications to interfaces between the ERP system and external systems for proper control and functionality.
• Create detailed process documentation and workflows to ensure proper understanding of system interfaces and data flows.
• Assist in financial systems integrations and accounting improvement projects from initiation to completion, ensuring successful delivery within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Gain an understanding of accounting process bottlenecks/areas of improvement and create strategic solutions utilizing system automations and lean initiatives to optimize efficiencies. Based on findings, collaborate with stakeholders to gather project requirements, and create detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations.
