We're seeking a Senior AI Editor and Content Strategist to lead our content efforts across our networks. You are a seasoned SEO content editor/writer who can produce long-form, SEO-optimized blog articles. The ideal candidate is an experienced writer, editor, and communicator who is passionate about Demand.io's mission to improve online shopping by helping people save time and money.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement a content strategy aligned with our business goals and target audiences, focusing on SEO, social media, and AI platforms.
• Manage Demand.io brand blogs (SimplyCodes, Knoji, DealSpotr), leveraging content for growth.
• Create and manage an SEO content calendar based on keyword research and trends; conduct keyword research for SEO-focused blog articles.
• Use generative AI to write, edit, and publish multiple article daily in the shopping, commerce, and savings categories, including tips, how-tos, reviews, and roundups, based on trends, news, SEO data, seasonality, and audience insights.
• Oversee the entire content production workflow, from writing briefs to fact-checking, editing, and preparing posts for publication.
• Experiment with innovative ways to scale content creation.
• Analyze content performance with metrics like organic traffic, engagement, and conversion rates to continually refine our content strategy.
• Collaborate with the VP of Marketing to create thought-leadership pieces, reports, and surveys.
• Work with Product, Design, Growth, and Engineering teams to ensure all product surfaces, campaigns, and content are optimized for growth and conversion.
• Contribute to social media, video, and email content as needed.

About you

• 7+ years of experience in content strategy, SEO, or digital marketing, with a strong track record of driving organic growth through content.
• Deep expertise in AI-assisted content creation, with the ability to develop and refine prompts that generate high-quality, SEO-friendly content.
• Proven track record of using AI tools and prompts to create content that ranks for competitive keywords and drives organic traffic.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to craft compelling, data-driven content that resonates with target audiences.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform content strategy and optimize performance.
• Collaborative mindset, with the ability to work cross-functionally with Product, Design, Growth, and Engineering teams.
• Passion for staying up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in AI, SEO, and content marketing.

About the job

• Starting base salary range: $130,000 - $200,000 DOE.
• Stock options: 0.20% to 0.30% initial grant.
