As a Senior Accountant of Brevo, you will:
Manage month-end close activities, including revenue and accrual entries
Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors
Complete monthly Bank Reconciliations
Process travel and entertainment expense entries
Assist with cash collection and recording of accounts receivable for US customers
Oversee yearly, quarterly, and monthly tax returns for the US and Canada with assistance from the external CPA
Conduct monthly balance sheet reconciliations
Manage US Sales Tax through Avalara and Chargebee (billing system)
Set up fixed assets and complete reconciliations
Be the finance support for the Customer Experience team for the US billing entity
Assist with general business compliance such as yearly business licenses, franchise tax fillings, etc
Answer all employees’ inquiries relating to finance and accounting via Slack
Submit monthly IRA and RRSP contributions
What will contribute to your success:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
3-5 years of experience
CPA or CMA preferred
Familiarity with Microsoft suite and basic Excel functions
Experience In using Netsuite, Notion, and Wrike software is preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong ethical standards, professionalism, and a positive attitude
Work with an international and collaborative scale-up in a hyper-growth environment
