Senior Accountant

A large publicly traded company in the U.S. is currently hiring for a Senior Accountant to work in their Duluth, GA office! This Senior Accountant will have the opportunity for quick advancement, a flexible work schedule, and work for an employee centric organization. This Senior Accountant will work for one of the fastest growing retail companies in their space.

Job Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:

• Responsible for performing month end close for multiple entities
• Prepare balance sheet account reconciliation and variance analysis
• Prepare journal entries and provide supporting documentation
• Prepare schedules and support for SEC
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting
• Respond and prepare audit requests
• Create and build financial reports and other ad hoc reporting and analysis

Job Requirements for the Senior Accountant:

• 8+ years of progressive general ledger accounting experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Strong Excel Skills including; pivot tables, Vlookups, nesting
• Financial reporting experience highly preferred
