Senior Accountant

The Intersect Group is partnering with an industry leading utilities service provider currently looking for a Senior Accountant to join their team. Located in Downtown Atlanta, GA, this role offers a hybrid schedule with a growing, acquisition focused company providing great exposure to higher level opportunities, an excellent 401K plan, and strong benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct general ledger accounting and financial reporting & analysis in relation to the monthly financial statement close process and the operating companies' financial statement review.
• Provide accurate, timely, and relevant financial reporting and forecasting support to management.
• Prepare supporting documents and schedules related to the annual audit of financial statements.
• Ensure accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the US. - Fixed Assets (book and tax depreciation schedules, roll forward schedules, capital spending summaries), Software Development Costs, Capital Lease Liabilities, and Intangibles

Requirements:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Ideally looking for someone with a Big 4 background - will consider someone straight out of public/audit
• Strong Excel skills - dealing with large volumes of data
• Positive personality and driven to learn and grow

Salary: $70K - $90K
