Senior Accountant

We are actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team. Your responsibilities will include extracting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making processes within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Perform bank reconciliations and support treasury management and reporting
• Prepare journal entries and document support for various financial statement line items including cash, revenue recognition, credit cards, payroll, prepaids and fixed assets
• Compile balance sheet reconciliations, investigate discrepancies and work cross-functionally to resolve issues swiftly
• Manage the Company employee expense reimbursement and credit card reporting platform and support employees as the primary finance point of contact
• Support Director of Accounting to facilitate month end close processes
• Assist with preparation of the audited financial statements and coordination of supporting documentation for audit requests

Required Qualifications

• 3-4 years experience in a related finance and/or accounting role, public accounting experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related field required
• E-commerce, CPG, DTC and/or inventory accounting experience strongly preferred
• Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Quickbooks or other accounting software experience preferred
• Ability to work both independently and with a collaborative team
• Proactive self-starter with strong time management skills and attention to detail
