Generic Network Systems (GNS) is looking for a Senior Account Executive to drive sales of our boutique technology-managed services and hosting business. We manage systems all over the world from our NYC, London, San Francisco & Portland, OR offices. We have collocation sites in North America, Europe, and Asia. We also heavily utilize and support the public cloud. We serve over 130 clients, primarily in the Financial Services sector. You will have complete access to the founders and owners who are involved in our day-to-day operations.
GNS has been in business since 2007, is well-known in the industry, and has a deep pipeline for you to mine. We are a small company and will rely on you to help us design, implement, and manage a new sales process. We will supply technical and market knowledge and support, but you must be a self-starter who can launch comprehensive sales campaigns for our various markets. We have some exciting new products and services that you will help us get out to the market. You will primarily work remotely but will need to come to Manhattan often for meetings with clients and our business development team.
Most of our business is in the NYC metropolitan area, but since we sell and have clients all over the US and in London, some travel will be required to meet prospective clients and attend trade shows.
Compensation: $75,000 - $100,000 base + commissions
