The Intersect Group is seeking a dedicated and growth-oriented Security Analyst. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, with experience in security monitoring and reporting. This role is ideal for someone who is techno functional, eager to learn, and wants to grow within the security field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to building out the organization's security stance and implementing new tools to support heavy growth.
• Review phishing submissions, help build out training programs through Microsoft Defender, and report on training effectiveness.
• Monitor alerts in Microsoft Defender, IDR (Rapid7), and antivirus software.
• Review and monitor security submissions and logs, with a focus on understanding business requirements and reading headers from phishing submissions.
• Generate and analyze security reports in Intune.
• Provide techno functional support, balancing technical and functional responsibilities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective integration and operation of security tools.
• Train on new tools and technologies, demonstrating a strong desire to grow within the security domain.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience as a security analyst or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Defender and Intune.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret security logs and headers.
• Techno functional skills, balancing both technical and business-oriented tasks.
• Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in the security field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
