Reports to the Director of IT

Target Salary $65-85k / annually

We are actively seeking a talented Security Administrator to work on an onsite role here in Jacksonville, FL. The Security Administrator will be responsible for administrating and operating of security tools like Proofpoint, Abnormal, Umbrella, and Sentinel One, collaborating with our Security Operations Center (SOC), and developing user security training programs to ensure robust security across the organization.

Daily responsibilities incude but are not limited to:

• Administer and maintain cybersecurity tools.
• Monitor security systems and respond to incidents.
• Develop and refine security policies.
• Conduct system audits and implement remediation.
• Collaborate with IT and security teams.
• Lead security awareness training.
• Stay updated on security trends and threats.
• Generate regular cybersecurity status reports.

Desired Qualifications (NOT ALL ARE REQUIRED):

• Education & Experience: Practical experience in IT security administration, preferably with 3+ years in the field. A bachelor's degree in a related field is appreciated but not required if you have significant industry experience. Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+) are desirable.
• Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in threat intelligence, network protocols, cloud security, scripting, and regulatory compliance. Strong analytical, problem-solving, incident response, and crisis management skills. Excellent communication and documentation abilities, with a proactive mindset and strong leadership qualities. Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
