Seasonal Producer Workflow Support Specialist

Summary

Job Description

Responsible for delivery of all projects and media to online edit rooms and audio mix suites. This position will provide support to all producers at NFL Films, with regards to their output and technical needs with Avid Media Composer. They will work in conjunction with the Engineering and Media Administration department to administer standard operating procedures to the system operators.

Responsibilities

  • Export all files, including AAF, QuickTime, MXF and EDL, for project delivery and online edit
  • Create and process files for streaming links, and delivery
  • Document and track technical issues with Avid environment and communicate with Engineering for troubleshooting purposes
  • Implement SOP for delivery of all shows from offline edit rooms to online edit rooms
  • Assist producers with Media Composer and Interplay questions
  • Help advise producers with project organization and shared project workflows between multiple operators
  • Work closely with Engineering to ensure the overall health and longevity of the system
  • Organize projects and folder structures for scheduling and editors
  • Proactively deliver sequences for media restore prior to scheduled online session
  • Assist with social media deliveries and postings
  • Work with producers for delivery of approval reels along with putting reservations on restricted media
  • Assist Engineering with hardware and software upgrades

Required Qualifications

  • 4 year college degree
  • 2 years of professional experience working with Avid Media Composer and/or Premiere
  • Strong troubleshooting skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred experience in a Media Management role or Assistant Editing role

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Terms / Expected Hours of Work

  • Seasonal, 7-month role
  • 40 hrs + OT when required
  • Nights, Some weekends required
  • Holidays may be required
