Summary

Job Description

Responsible for recording all live NFL games. This position will be required to distribute all recordings to the Media Management group for further processing.

Responsibilities

  • Complete operational understanding of EVS recording systems
  • Ability to follow specific patching, naming and timing instructions
  • Communicate any technical issues to the Engineering team
  • Record a secondary backup
  • Record a test clip pre-game
  • Log any media feed breaks and report back to the TOC and Media Management
  • Deliver all recorded copies to the Media Management group

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in machine room or video editing role
  • Minimum high school education

Preferred Qualifications

  • College degree in media relevant area preferred
  • Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere or EVS experience preferred

  • Nights and Weekends is a must
  • Candidate is punctual and reliable
  • Must have strong communication skills

Salary / Pay Range

The NFL expects to hire for this position near the middle of the range. Only in truly rare and exceptional circumstances, where an external candidate has experience, credentials or expertise that far exceed those required or expected for the position, would the NFL consider paying a salary or rate near the higher end of the range.

Terms /Expected Hours Of Work

  • This position is a part time, seasonal 7-month role.
  • Sundays, occasional Saturdays, and some weeknight availability required during NFL games.
  • Some holidays may be required.
