Search Engine Optimization Specialist

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SEO, the ability to enhance the companies organic rankings and website performance, and the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and drive traffic.
• Conduct keyword research and analysis to identify opportunities and trends.
• Perform on-page optimization, including meta tags, header tags, URL structure, and internal linking.
• Conduct local SEO optimization for Google Business Profile, Bing, Apple, and Yelp local listings
• Monitor and analyze website performance using SEO tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, etc.
• Work with the content team to develop SEO-friendly content strategies.
• Optimize existing content for search engines and user experience.
• Ensure content is aligned with the latest SEO guidelines and trends.
• Conduct technical SEO and UX audits and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure website structure, code, and other technical elements comply with SEO best practices.
• Provide regular reports on SEO performance, including insights and recommendations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends and technologies.
• Foster a collaborative environment with other departments to ensure cohesive digital marketing efforts.
• Represent the SEO team in cross-departmental projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 2 - 3 years' experience in SEO marketing
• Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush, etc.)
• Experience with Wordpress, HTML, and CSS for SEO purposes
• Strong understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with an adaptive mindset
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data in an understandable manner
