Responsibilities:
Support Key Driver Identification (KDI) peptone/hydrolysate project teams
Create and use batch records to formulate powder and liquid pilot material
Complete approved study plans to assess physical and biological performance of the media and peptones
Handle inventories of chemicals and other supplies
Ensure pilot equipment and rooms are well maintained
Conduct experiments, analyze data, and suggest next experimental steps to the technical project leader
Identify areas for improvement and innovation for the KDI and Media Format programs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement new methodologies and technologies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology/Biomedical engineering, or other related field). Equivalent experience will also be considered.
Knowledge and experience with cell culture media and/or peptones/hydrolysates
Knowledge and experience with small scale cell culture techniques
Outstanding problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced research environment and deliver detailed results
