Job Title: SAP GRC

Job Location: Houston, TX

Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Summary: The SAP Security is responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of the SAP landscape within the organization. This role involves implementing, managing, and auditing security measures to protect SAP systems, data, and processes from unauthorized access, misuse, or breaches. The incumbent collaborates with various teams to design, implement, and maintain security solutions aligned with business requirements and industry best practices.

SAP GRC, IAG experience is mandatory

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement SAP security policies, procedures, and guidelines in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Configure and maintain user roles, authorizations, and profiles in SAP systems (e.g., ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, CRM) to ensure appropriate access controls.
  • Perform regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and audits to identify and address security gaps, risks, and compliance issues.
  • Collaborate with SAP Basis and functional teams to design and implement security solutions for new SAP implementations, upgrades, and system integrations.
  • Monitor and analyze security logs, incidents, and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents, breaches, and anomalies.
  • Provide support and guidance to end-users, administrators, and developers on SAP security-related matters.
  • Conduct user training and awareness programs to promote security best practices and ensure compliance with security policies.
  • Stay current with SAP security trends, technologies, and threats to proactively address emerging risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in security projects and initiatives, such as access control reviews, segregation of duties (SoD) analysis, and role redesign.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate SAP security audits and assessments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field. (Master’s degree preferred)
  • SAP Security certification(s) such as SAP Certified Development Associate - SAP Authorization and Auditing for SAP NetWeaver or equivalent.
  • Proven experience (X years) working in SAP security administration, configuration, and implementation.
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP security concepts, principles, and best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP security tools and technologies (e.g., SAP GRC, SAP Solution Manager, SAP Identity Management).
  • Strong understanding of SAP architecture, modules, and components.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of SAP systems and data.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) and familiarity with regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, SOX) is a plus.
