Sales Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Specialist to drive our sales initiatives and help build revenue. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales within the food tech industry or relevant experience in hospitality or food service businesses. We are open to candidates with extensive experience or those with less experience but a strong drive to succeed. A passion for sustainability and the ability to actively close deals and achieve ambitious sales targets are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Actively seek out and engage prospective customers, expanding Metafoodx’s customer base and ensuring a strong presence in the market.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to fine-tune our product offerings with market trends and customer insights.
• Represent Metafoodx at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote our brand and products.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, analyzing data to identify areas of improvement or opportunities for growth.
• Close sales deals and achieve ambitious sales targets.
• Engage with chefs and food service professionals to understand their daily operations and challenges, ensuring our solutions meet their needs.
• Sell technology or kitchen equipment to food service businesses, leveraging your understanding of the industry.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Experience working in a managerial role within a hospitality or food service business is highly preferred.
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets.
• Experience selling technology or kitchen equipment to food service businesses is a plus.
• Strong business acumen with a customer-centric mindset.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in CRM and sales management tools.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Passion for sustainability and innovation in the food tech industry.
• For candidates with less experience: Demonstrated ambition and drive to seek out customers and achieve sales targets through commission-based incentives.
