SailPoint Solutions Architect – IdentityNow - Identity Security Cloud


Role summary:

The ProofID Solutions Architect is responsible for being the technical lead reporting to and working closely with the Chief Services Officer during pre-sales processes, RFP creation, client demos and if the project is won, then installation, integration and deployment or enhancements/maintenance of SailPoint IdentityNow software projects for clients and partners. This is a client facing role where you will be the primary technical resource on the front line responsible for turning this SailPoint client Identity requirement into reality.


Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the CSO in pre-sales activity such as in initial meetings with prospects, demoing IdentityNow products and proposal creation.
  • Installation, integration, and deployment of the IdentityNow products in the client(s) environment.
  • Collaborating with the clients post implementation on user testing, debugging, support and environment maintenance.
  • Communicating to the clients and partners aspects of both the product and the implementation at the technical and/or functional level appropriate for the situation.
  • Partnering with Project Manager on scope, schedule, status, and documentation.


Key Competencies:

The ideal candidate has experience with many of the technologies below:

  • 5-7+ years of professional work experience as part of an enterprise software company or systems integrator. This should include 3+ years of enterprise software implementation experience both as a developer and architect.
  • Experience in software development, implementation, and configuration, namely IdentityNow products.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating with clients.
  • Experience with some of the following:

XML, SPML/SOAP, Web and Application Servers, HTML.

Windows and Unix (Linux, Sun, HP, AIX) platforms.

Databases (Oracle, Sybase, MSSQL, MySQL)

Directories (LDAP, AD).

Enterprise systems (SAP, PeopleSoft) a plus.

Angular JS, Java, BeanShell/JavaScript, JSP/Servlets, SQL.

Familiarity with IAM space with identity management provisioning systems including

Sun, Oracle, IBM, Novell a plus.

Familiarity with RBAC and Provisioning a plus.


Preferred:

  • Experience with working with Project Management to assist in (project planning, resource management, scope, schedule and status, documentation)
  • Experience with QA duties is a plus (usability testing, performance testing, automated testing, test scripts, test cases and test plans).
  • Security software or internal IT audit experience


Location details:

The consultant must be based in the USA.

This is a remote position, some travel (5-10%) may be necessary.


Education/Certifications:

  • SailPoint IdentityNow Certified Engineer is preferred.
  • Computer Science, Engineering degree, or 6-10 years equivalent experience
  • J2EE certification and/or CISSP certification is a plus.
