Manager of Talent Acquisition and Strategy at Silver Cross Hospital

This position is designated to help decrease/minimize financial loss for the organization through the facilitation of the risk management program. This includes developing familiarity with applicable legislation, legal and ethical issues in healthcare risk management, patient rights, and serving as a resource within the organization to help mitigate risk.

  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Illinois and a Bachelor’s in Science in a healthcare related field required (preferably nursing).
  • A minimum of 2 years healthcare risk management experience, with a working knowledge of Joint Commission, preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years hospital experience in a clinical or administrative role, with specific patient safety, risk/quality management experience required.
  • Must have strong organization and data management skills, including Microsoft word/excel/Outlook, spreadsheets and RL6 reporting. Cerner experience required.
  • Excellent oral and interpersonal written communication skills, poise in teaching and consulting required.
  • Certified Professional Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM) certification within 2 years required.
