Retail Planning Manager, Ring

Ring is seeking a Retail Planning Manager to join our North American Sales Operations team. This role is responsible for developing high-quality demand and shipment plans that incorporate historical data, business insight, and cross-functional inputs. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in a combination of retail sales planning, sales forecasting, and analytical reporting.

Key job responsibilities
Utilize financial targets, sales data, promotional calendar, and strong analytics to develop item-level shipment forecasts for multiple time horizons, products, channels, and markets
Regularly evaluate forecast vs. actuals to enable dynamic adjustment, inform business insights, and drive corrective action
Lead regular inventory planning calls with retailer counterparts to ensure inventory levels are optimal to meet demand
Standardize and analyze raw data from ERP and external systems to determine weekly inventory needs, align inventory counts and check data integrity
Partner with Supply Chain Leads to consolidate global demand and inventory for Ring device products
Participate in regular S&OP process for incorporating input from various teams on factors driving demand
Support new product forecasts, informing initial launch inventory strategy, and optimizing inventory flow and locations to support the delivery of finished goods to the customer

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $199,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in planning (ideally with CPG or Retail company)
- Experience with ERP, WMS, EPM, and sales data systems (Tableau Dashboards preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills
- Proven ability to apply retail math, planning and forecasting processes, and financial metrics to drive business results
- Strong business acumen and analytical skill set, including the ability to recognize trends and patterns within a large and complex data set
- Experience using retailer data portals (Partners Online, Data Connection, IRI, Vendor Partner Plus)
